North East Green House Alliance (NEGHA), a collective of eight shires and councils across Victoria, partnered with Solar Shop Australia to design and install solar systems for all interested households in the community. The eight participating shires and councils, representing some 100,000 Victorian households, included Alpine Shire, Colac Otway Shire, Hepburn Shire, Indigo Shire, Moira Shire, Murrindindi Shire, Rural City of Wangaratta, and the City of Wodonga.
The partnership with NEGHA gave local homeowners the opportunity to install a grid connect solar system at an affordable price, helping to reduce the communities' carbon footprints.
